Well, after yesterday's post I have finally fixed all of the issues stated above. One of the issues fixed was the rotating banner. Thanks to a friend in IRC, I placed style rules just for the banner in the head tags, under a custom Unity script I wrote for Ubuntu. The banner should now spin just fine, it not you'll have to clear your cache to see the changes.
The recent posts widget is fixed. I found an even better widget that does the same as the original The widget displays 26 posts at a time, and loads slightly faster than the old widget I had before this that broke as well.
The Ubuntu countdown has been updated for Ubuntu 13.04.
So within a day's worth of time, I managed to get all of the issues covered in yesterday's post, fixed today. Talk about productivity. That's another thing -- I'm also busy reviewing Todoist, which is a productivity app and a task list at the same time. I don't use it as much but this could have been a good use.
